as everyone had guessed, the election has been set for may 5th.

personally, this is my first opportunity 'post wt mind-control' to vote for our next government.

i don't suppose that i will - 40 years of 'neutrality' and non-involvement have rather flattened my desire to take part in political change.. how about you?

How unlucky can Charles and Camilla get?!

first they plan to get married in windsor castle but that goes wrong and they end up in the town hall.

then 'mummy' decides that she won't attend the actual wedding ceremony, nor will prince philip.

then charles is told he must repent for his affair with camilla and apologise to her first husband, andrew parker bowles.

Update -- wife given permission new union without my permission

since my last post i found out that my wife lied to get a "vow of faithfullness with another man.

in march of 2004 she asked me to sign an agreement document to give to a lawyer in order to get our marriage annulled.

i agreed only on her promise not to give it to the congregation to be with another man but only for her lawyer.

Why devote a whole web site to someone who (excuse my bluntness) has left you and moved half way round the World??Bitterness is a terrible thing.

It is also quite difficult to give balanced advice when only hearing half the Story.

Also,if he da,d in 1987 then he is not a JW.

i have heard many urban myths associated with the watchtower society and its hapless adherents.

i like the one where an "interested one" accepted the invitation to attend the memorial one year, and sat next to a "sister" who let the confused attendee use her bible to look up scriptures as they were presented.

afterword, the "sister" walked the man up to the circuit overseer, who had delivered the talk that year, and introduced the dupe-filled "study" to the co. the co complimented the man on his spiritual interest and asked what impelled him to come up and talk to him.
